2026 Sunset Social

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for Target Hunger’s 5th Annual Sunset Social on Thursday, October 22, at Birdie’s Icehouse and East River 9. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, attendees, and volunteers, this year’s event brought our community together for an evening of friendly competition, connection, and impact. The funds raised will support Target Hunger’s Food Assistance and Navigation Services programs, helping provide nutritious food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity while connecting individuals and families with resources to address the root causes of hunger across northeast and east Houston.

From golf and pickleball to great food and skyline views, the evening was a celebration of community and the difference we can make when we come together. Every sponsorship, ticket purchased, auction contribution, and volunteer hour helped make this event possible and will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the neighbors we serve.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of Sunset Social, from our sponsors and donors to our volunteers and guests. We are especially grateful to Trafigura for serving as our Presenting Sponsor and for their continued investment in Target Hunger’s work. Your support allows us to provide nutritious food and connect our neighbors with essential resources. Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference in the communities we serve. We are grateful for the support of our community and look forward to making an even greater impact together.
