Join us for Target Hunger’s 4th Annual Sunset Social on Thursday, October 23rd at East River 9! This family-friendly evening will support Target Hunger’s mission to alleviate hunger and its root causes in the Houston neighborhoods we serve.

The Sunset Social offers an unforgettable evening filled with activities for all ages. Guests will enjoy exceptional food and drinks, music, driving range and yard games, a dedicated Kid Zone, and a vibrant silent auction. Adding to the excitement are two signature events—the Drive Out Hunger Golf Experience and the Pickleball for a Purpose Tournament. Whether you’re competing or connecting, this is a night of fun and purpose you won’t want to miss!

The first round of the Drive Out Hunger Golf Experience tees off at 4:30pm, followed by the second round at 6:30pm. Players may request morning tee times (8:00am – 10:20am) and return later to enjoy the Sunset Social. Pickleball for a Purpose Tournament play starts at 6:00pm. The evening wraps up with an Awards Presentation at 8:30pm and the event officially concludes at 10:00pm. Sunset Social entertainment begins across the venue at 5:00pm.

All participants in the Golf and Pickleball Tournaments receive full access to Sunset Social perks. Children 12 and under may attend the Sunset Social for free; children age 10+ who wish to participate in golf or pickleball must purchase a player ticket.

More Information:

Team Format: 6-person teams playing best ball, played from the River Tees with a shotgun start.

Double-Bogey Rule: If you can’t score better than a double-bogey, pick up and move to the next hole.

Mulligans: If your team has purchased a mulligan ball you can use it UNTIL YOU LOSE IT. If your team misses a putt or hits a bad shot, the mulligan allows ONE redo per hole. Max times for this to be used is nine times unless you lose it. ($100 Mulligans will be available for purchase on-site)

Push carts will be available on-site to rent.
