Community Outreach Manager
SUMMARY: The Community Outreach Manager is responsible for increasing awareness of Target Hunger services and programs and increasing the organization’s engagement with clients, advisory committee members, and strategic partners. Overall, this position will create and implement an outreach strategy; recruit and oversee a Community Advisory Committee; increase the organization’s client base and ensure continuous quality improvement of the programs through feedback; and build and deepen relationships with various community-based groups for Educational Food Fairs and other initiatives.
Client Services Specialist
SUMMARY: The Client Services Specialist role supports the organization as well as the Client Services Department. The role is responsible for managing multiple administrative tasks and serves as the first point of contact in the Department. As the Client Services Specialist, you will have opportunities to execute important day-to-day responsibilities within the Client Services Department, with focus areas on office administration like answering phones, welcoming clients, preparing for events and meetings, working with partners, and working with information management. Within this role you will have a diverse set of responsibilities, will enable the organization to build even stronger operational systems and will implement existing administrative processes more effectively and efficiently.
Food Fair Distribution Assistant – Food Services
SUMMARY: The Food Fair Distribution Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of Target Hunger’s weekly Food Fair events and other distributions as needed. This position requires a high level of self- reliance, interpersonal skill, and volunteer interaction.
Partner Services Coordinator
SUMMARY:The Partner Services Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining community partners sites and ensuring compliance with the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). The coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination of all required paperwork and maintaining accurate service records. The coordinator will use their excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure smooth communication between agency and sites for food distribution events.
Seasonal Intake Assistant
SUMMARY:The Intake Assistant is responsible for the accurate, courteous, and organized intake of client applications during Target Hunger’s weekly Food Fair events and other distributions as needed. This position requires a high level of self-reliance, interpersonal skill, and volunteer interaction.
